The story of Ya Hala follows Chef and matriarch Mirna Attar’s journey from Lebanon to Portland.
Mirna's menu reflects the breadth of Portland's food scene, the Pacific Northwest's agriculture, and the growing demands of dietary preferences without unclasping the thread of her dishes' inspiration, her homeland of Lebanon.
At Ya Hala, Chef Mirna and her team compose each dish's components from the ground up, the restaurant's precision never results in pretentiousness. Instead, Ya Hala offers a handmade artisanship married with the warmth of a home-cooked meal.
